Tipster Abhishek Yadav has claimed the alleged launch timeline of the Neo 7 Pro. The tipster also listed some of the phone's key specifications, suggesting that the device will be a rebadged version of another Neo series phone from China.

It was previously speculated that the Neo 7 Pro in India would be a rebadged version of the Neo 7 Racing Edition.Yadav's claim contradicts these rumours and states that the Neo 7 Pro launching in India is actually the Neo 8 5G from China.

The iQOO Neo 7 Pro will be a premium smartphone offering in India. According to a new leak, The device will likely launch in the third week of June. Yadav claims the Neo 7 Pro India launch event will be held around June 20.

The tipster also posted the key specifications of the upcoming iQOO Neo series smartphone. Based on the leaked specifications, it looks like the phone will launch as a rebadged version of the Neo 8 5G from China.

iQOO launched the Neo 8 series last month in China. The Neo 8 Pro features a Dimensity 9200+ SoC, whereas the Neo 8 has a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC.

The Neo 7 Racing Edition has the same SoC as the Neo 8 5G. However, the Neo 8 5G has a smoother display with a higher resolution—both phones some similar batteries and fast-charging tech.

However, when it comes to the camera system, the Neo 7 Racing Edition looks better on paper with an additional 8MP ultra-wide sensor, which is missing in the Neo 8 5G.

The Neo 7 Pro is expected to be priced under Rs 40,000 in India and will take on the likes of the OnePlus 11R 5G, Samsung Galaxy A54 5G and the Vivo V27 Pro 5G in India.

However, if the leaked specs are true, the Neo 7 Pro might be positioned as a performance-focused device instead of an all-rounder premium smartphone with a versatile camera setup.

A Vivo smartphone with the model number I2217 has been listed on the website which is speculated to be the iQOO Neo 7 Pro. For those unaware, iQOO is sub-brand of Vivo.

Here, the smartphone has scored 1,112 in Geekbench's single-core and 3,578 in multi-core tests.The chipset in this Geekbench listing is a Qualcomm Snapdragon with the codename ‘taro’.

The chipset boasts a maximum clock speed of 3.0GHz and is equipped with three extra performance cores that are fixed at 2.5GHz.In addition, it is equipped with four low-power cores that operate at a clock speed of 1.8GHz.

It is probable that the phone is equipped with either a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset or a down-clocked variant of the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset, based on the provided information.

The iQOO Neo 7 Pro will pack 8GB of RAM and was spotted running Android 13 out of the box.

As per the information shared by industry sources with Pricebaba, the iQOO Neo 7 Pro will be introduced in the Indian market. The sources have informed that the launch event of the iQOO Neo 7 Pro will take place by the end of June.

Additionally, sources have shared the leaked poster image which confirms the moniker as the iQOO Neo 7 Pro. Apart from the moniker information and the launch timeline no other details of the device are revealed yet.

As per the rumours, the iQOO Neo 7 Pro will be arriving with a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC. The handset might feature a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a Full HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate.

These specifications does match with the rumoured specifications of iQOO Neo 7 Pro. It could be possible that the iQOO Neo 7T will debut in India with the iQOO Neo 7 Pro moniker.
